maybe i'm just Brian Wilson'd out or something but these are doing less and less for me. This one i didnt find funny at all and it just seems like he's trying too hard to be a character.

yea and in everything i've seen he comes across as trying to hard. Its one thing to be naturally funny but he just tries too hard and at first i thought it was funny because i didnt know a lot about him but now its the same stuff and not as funny as i first thought it was. Other than the Lopez Tonight bit i havent found any of his stuff to be that funny.

lol...I think he was talking about the type of humor more than the appearance

Obviously not exactly the same, but it's actually a fair comparison if you listen to the way the both talk in that over-intense manner. There's probably better examples, but:

This 2k stuff etc isn't Wilson at his best. He is just naturally funny in his own quick witted way. These are all ads where he is given a script to read most likely.

he man I don't know if you've actually seen someone trying too hard to be funny (see Dane Cook) but I def wouldn't but Brian Wilson in that category. He has a very goofy sense of humor, you either get it or you don't.
