This is how the ratings should be. There should RARELY be a player rated 99. That means NO one can get better. 99 should basically be a perfect player, and there is no such thing. NBA2k gets this right. I'll keep an eye out on this and let me know if you want any help.

That is exactly what I am trying to replicate. there really shouldn't be any 99 OVRs. that should be for the HOFs and stuff
I believe that when I am done that the highest OVR will be 95

I think you got QBs rated pretty accurate, no problems there for me. When you do rate RBs, remember that Arian Foster led the NFL in rushing, was second in catching for all RBs, led all RBs in receiving yards, and he made the Pro Bowl. Also, the game has his weight wrong, he is 227 pounds, not 215. You can check that on nfl.com and espn.com

dude trust me you were more than half of my inspiration to do this. I have always done this but really only to where it was so there wasn't many 90s but I feel that the only way to do this accurately is by doing all the players. I got through the QBs and half way through the RBs. I restarted the RBs because I finally got to them and I had a crap load of 90s still so I decided to make the ratings even lower.

There are rookie RBs who never caught a pass in the NFL with much higher catch ratings than Foster. You have to sort by Catch and look at the ratings and compare to Foster who was second in receptions (RB) and led all RBs in receiving yardage, 604!

dude I understand that you are trying to put that Foster is a freakin beast but cmon if I give him really high ratings on all of those things then he will be a 99 or something but I will see what I can do.

Finished the RBs. Foster is on top at 94 and I boosted his Catching to a 84 or 83 cant remember. On to the FBs!

Something that I just find really cool.

Since there is such a rating diff now Jordan is tied for the lowest rating in the NFL for QBs at 45 OVR. I went into practice mode with him and I did offense only and i could really only complete the short passes and the really deep passes were definitely a no go. When I tried to go Middle of the field it really was 50/50 and when I went short those were the only ones I could really complete and then I put a defense out there and I really had to be careful.
(on my sliders though I have QB acc at 10 so that might even add on to it!)

Just played a game Bears @ Texans. Wanted to face the best runningback in the NFL. :wink:
Well it came out to what I wanted but I only played the first half. it ended the half of a score of 17-14. Matt Schaub did damn good even though he is a 83 overall. He had a 126.9 QB Rating, 15-21, and passed for 249 yards. 71% completion percentage and 1 passing touchdown and then a long of 36 yards.
Arian Foster may have not had a fabulous first half. here is his stats.
15 ATTs, 45 YRDs, AVG 3.0, 1 TD, 1 FUM, 2 BTK, 19 long. The fumble was forced by Brian Urlacher so it was fine.

It was a user FF. I will post some highlights soon from Arian Foster!

I would prefer to wait until you finished the entire roster. Actually, I think you should just do this and don't worry about what others get, because sliders have an effect and people may very well get different results, not to mention player ability.

Alright that makes sense. Now I know this sounds insane but I was thinking about releasing a roster that is half finished and what I mean by that is I am intending to release a file that only has the Offense dumbed down and then I will release a file with EVERY ONE done!
