It comes out, per Play-Asia.com, a month from this coming Thursday. But how will they be able to top last year's effort? And will the great folks who run Spirits Translation try to decipher stardom and grand prix modes as well as Hawaii, Homeground and Koichi of Spirits Mode

I don't know where u get info...but this game doesn't release til March 24th....even play asia.

Thanks for the kind donation plug. We would definitely appreciate all the support we can get because running a site is not cheap and we are doing it on a pure voluntary basis.

Now you mentioned the Spirits and Grand Prix mode. We actually have some of that groundwork already done, so while I can't promise you they will be out soon, I can tell you we definitely have no given up on those modes.

With the guide, you should have no problem now setting up rooms and playing against friends from OperationSports or what not. Finally we will definitely be getting PYS 2011 so we will update our site appropriately.

This is a bit off topic but I'm just curious. Does the PYS series have any connection to the old Bases Loaded games? Because the visuals really remind me of some of the Super Bases Loaded games for the SNES. Or at least, what those games would look like in today's technology. Maybe it's just me but I thought I'd ask.

Well they were both made in Japan and bases loaded was known in Japan as pro yakyu, does that count.

And we know Japanese artists depictions have similarities.

It's cool. Pro Yakyuu translated is just Professional Baseball I believe, so really any baseball game could carry that in the title.
