Type of Hitting You're Going With This Year.
Played a few demo games and I have decided to go with timing only hitting. I think that using this mode will tailor to the players attributes the most which will give more of a sim type game IMO. So what are you going to go with?

Zone because I got used to it. Will mess around with Analog occasionally in Practice Mode.

Need more poll options. I'll be doing a combo. Analog for my RTTS since it will provide a closer connection to him as my personal skills will have more reflection on his success.
Timing or zone for when I play in a team mode. Haven't decided which yet. I usually play mostly RTTS anyway. |

I voted analog but will also do zone as well!

I voted for pure analog. I really want to use the new system, but so far I have been horrendous with it. I dropped down to veteran hitting and lowered pitch speed and I am still having great difficulty.
Practice makes perfect I suppose! |

Another timing only man, i like the fact its more reliant on player attributes as you say Jay, and quite frankly, having tried the analog (which i found ok) i simply enjoy the timing only interface more.

ZONE for me :y1:
...I'm loving "ZONE" hitting, loved it since I can remember it was implemented and will not stray from it. Pitching-wise, I will most definitely move to "analog" I want the full-game...now! lol :) QUESTION: Why "TIMING" over "ZONE" to some of you? "Timed" just doesn't give us, as the batter, a challenge (even on LEGEND, IMO)...at the very least "zone" hitting you have to "time" & push the stick in the correct area. I'm just curious as to why you would pick one over the other. |
