For everyone that thinks this is a realistic bball game..."Forget You"
Its a track meet online.. Its all about pick either New York Miami La Or Orlando and hold turbo.. seriously and what bothers me is the tools are there for a realistic game but the devs or whoever controls sliders online are just allowing this to be a glorified game of NBA Jam..Please as a college grad who studied business trust me You will not lose fans if you make this a pure sim game and not cater to Carmelo Dunk Kobe Dunk Lebron Dunk a thon...just ...argggh it frustrates me that I don't believe they listen.....imagineFifa 11 with Man u vs Arsenal and the games were 11-10...........This game has realistic possibilities but still I don't mind being beat bcuz I was simmed to death but to be cheesed to death is so 9th grade....Last edited by rockchisler; 02-28-2011, 04:40 PM.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

Re: For everyone that thinks this is a realistic bball game..."Forget You"
When ever you play an open sport online it's going to be bad. Look at Hockey? Look at Fifa? Baseball and Football have downs and pitches to slow play down and it forces players to play properly cause there is no way not too.
Untill they implement a down system in basketball, you won't like the game online. You can't control an open flow game style.I'd like to talk to you about a serious problem. Packs of wild dogs that have taken over most of the major cities.

In my opinion, this is the easiest sports game to stop cheesers. But the passing pisses me off a lot. I usually bring up the icons to pass, but I'll forget sometimes and when I don't use the icons I turn it over.Comment

All online games are full of people who just exploit or do the same thing over and over again. That's why if u wanna play sim, play it offline =)Comment

Re: For everyone that thinks this is a realistic bball game online..."Forget You"
The fact that they dumbed the game down from when it first came out is the most frustrating things.
1. People taking their bigs in the paint, jump stopping, and morphing through my players is frustrating.
2. Dunks in traffic are frustrating as well.
3. Contested shots going in at a high rate by spot up shooters angers me as well. Fadeaways at times go in as well.Comment

Re: For everyone that thinks this is a realistic bball game..."Forget You"
I truly gave online sports gaming a real chance this year and last with Madden 2011, NCAA 2011, and NBA2K11.
I have come to the conclusion that unless you can find some great players who understand that cheesing is for 10 year olds it is an exercise in futility.
I gave up. It is just way to frustrating. And I joined so called sim leagues, yada, yada, yada. I met some great players to get a good sim game in with from time to time. But most leagues would end up fizzling out because everyone has different opinions of what sim is, what is cheesing...I got so sick and tired of it and said to myself "my video gaming time is way too precious to me at this stage of my life (41, wife and son) to waste my time with a bunch of whiny virtual athletes".
Just play offline....it is the bliss I always knew and played since the stinking Atari 2600 so why change things now.
Now if your talking about Battlefield 2....that's another story. Love that game online. A total blast to get 3 other squad members and go off and have fun.
But online sports gaming is one gigantic FAIL for me.Now Playing on PS5:
CFB 26 Hurricanes/Fresno State Year 2
MLB The Show 25 - 2025 Yankees Year 1
MLB The Show 25 1985 Yankees Year 1

I feel the same. I think Madden online is good, but the rest of the games people have high expectations and overreact when they're not met. I just played a game with a guy online and he used the Heat. Yeah, It was pretty frustrating that all he did was iso with Wade or James, Pass the ball to Illgauskas in the post, shoot 3s with Mike Miller(after putting him at PG), and never subbed during the game, yet I won and still had fun.I truly gave online sports gaming a real chance this year and last with Madden 2011, NCAA 2011, and NBA2K11.
