Retiring Coaches

I've got 3 questions about retiring coaches. 1. Do all coaches retire soon after they reach 70 years old? I've seen very few that don't retire after they reach that age. 2. Does Team Chemistry help prevent coaches retiring like it does players? 3. Do personality traits like Well Rounded, Impulsive and Reckless increase the chances a coach will retire? In one of my sims, I saw Caldwell retire right after he was fired as HC. Strange for such a young coach. Thanks for all.

Anybody got a answer for my questions?

I don't know exactly why coaches retire, but I do think team chemistry has something to do with it. I just finished an Eagles career, and the only coach I had retire was Jim Johnson, and that took until year 9. In past careers, I have had him retire in years 2, 3, 4, and 6. In this career, the team had won 4 super bowls, and went to a 5th before he retired.

1. No, I think it's random. Like, there's a percentage = to their age, so the older they get, the more likely they retire. Not 100% sure, but in my reloading when save coaches (to see if I want to fire or not), one guy retired about half of the time when I wanted to keep him.
2. I don't know, probably not.
3. I don't know, my best answer would be maybe. :p

Also watch out for your owner's season goal of re-hiring a certain coach. If that's on your agenda, you'd better hope that that coach has a good year, or your team has a good year. In the past, I've had a playoff caliber team not win in the playoffs and had my OC retire because of it. In successive games started with the same team and coaching staff, he's stayed on if we're more successful.
