ncca worth $34 used?

I have 2k8, with updated rosters and though I love the game its hard to play it for a long time bc it looks awful graphically especially when I play NBA 2k10. The play by play doesn't help much either. I know rosters are hard to update (360) but if I do dynasty and progress a year can I export the main teams and edit generic players or even just have an updated dynasty with older exhibition rosters?

I'd keep playing NCAA College Hoops 2k8.

I bought NCAA March Madness 10 last year, and although its an updated game and the ESPN/CBS overlays are cool, I ended up going back to CH2k8 this year and haven't looked back.

Also, $34 is pretty expensive...I'd keep looking for a cheaper copy.

The game really should be priced a lot lower since EA abandoned it right after release last year. But, that said, the game is a lot of fun and if you have some games to trade in or a coupon to another store that would lower the overall price, I would say get it.

2K8 is a much better game, but I've grown tired of it. I really enjoy NCAA Basketball 10, but the freezing issue kills it for me too. Hope we see a new NCAA game sometime in the next couple of years, but I'm not holding my breath. Until then, NBA 2K11 is your best bet for great basketball on the Xbox360/PS3

By now you should be able to pick up BOTH NCAA Basketball and 2k8 for about $40 which is totally worth it IMO.

i rented it, def. not worth it. THe presentation is awesome, i like the stat overlays and the play by play is nice. It does look better, but its too arcade-ish. oh well.

I paid $60 for it on day 1 and did not regret it.

I don't know about $34 but definitely worth $20. Let me put it this way, I own 2K8 and love it and I've only been playing NCAA 10 with the new rosters lately. Presentation and graphics just blow 2k8 away. Gameplay issues aren't as big a deal for me so take that for what it's worth. I get close exciting games set on highest level with straight up sliders. It's a lot like NBA Live 10 so if you like that format this game is for you. Lots of EA haters out there obviously, and this was the first year in several that I bought their basketball products after always being 2K guy and I haven't been disappointed frankly but I'm sure I will get hate.

So true story. I went into a Play and Trade here today to see what it was all about. They opened up right near Gamestop, been there a while, I just never got around to going in there until now. Anyway, I'm looking at the games and then I see NCAA 10 for the 360 and I'm like 'cool, maybe I should get this to go with my tourney buzz.' Nope, Play and Trade made sure that didn't happen. I pick up the case and I kid you not the price sticker said $59.99. $59.99 for a game that's pushing two years old. Full friggin price for a near two year old sports game. Needless to say that was my first and last time ever setting foot in a Play and Trade simply because of that.

The reviews have been so mixed that it's hard to know if I should pick it up. I love CH2K8 but the graphics make it tough sometimes. I saw NCAA BB 10 at Gamestop new for $40. I took a could five minutes before realizing that I could pay another $20 and get the show. That made the decision for me. I would be all ovr the game for $20 or $25 bucks. The tourney might make me cave and get a used copy for $32.

been thinking about getting this myself, just for the same reason you stated, the graphics are dated and its tough to look at sometimes. i really liked live 10, so i guess this wouldnt be that bad.

but no way im paying more than 20 for it.

The 2010 factory packaged game is going for a minimum $64 on Amazon market place. I don’t know much about digital distribution but why doesn’t EA sell a $5-$10 version of this game on the Xbox Live Market Place and Playstation Network.
