    Genuine Question

Ok, first and foremost I am not trying to cause conflict. I dont want to get banned or anything else. I just want some answers

    1. What is OS's relationship with the Madden Devs as of NOW?
Because I joined OS when Ian and Co started to interact with the community and as of late they have basically been MIA for quite a while.

(and plz dont tell me that they are working on the game cuz i been around here long enough to know how things go down and I check the boards just about every day)

with the interaction Ian and co had with m10 was great (i knw why ian stopped) but he can get an intern to interact. Just knwing that someone is watching can spur new ideas to help the dev team

    2. AND If they are still apart of the community then why are there not better ways to get ideas out to them through this site?
Yes, there is a wishlist section but everything posted there gets lost in the black hole

There could be a much cleaner way to separate things

plays to add section ( where ppl can post threads on this)
gameplay thread (speaks for itself....and have separate threads to do so)
    Offense
    defense
    special teams
    jerseys
    game modes
    features to add section
    and so on

this way things dont get lost in a black hole of things. And the important thing is that they have there own thread

    Re: Genuine Question

i don't know what it is with OS but with other site they had posted on they stopped and mostly only post on there twitter accounts about what's going on with madden so that could be why they stopped on here as well.

They still come on, but not as much. We had some goofballs on here that messed up for everyone. But Ian will show his face and pose some questions or thoughts he have to us, but nothing like two years ago

        Re: Genuine Question

Adembroski might be the closest link now that he works for them.

The trouble is, ideas should come out in August or September after the new game drops because that is when they start thinking ideas about the next Madden.

It's football, there's only so much that can be added, I am sure they look to do so each year, but like others said it's much further along the development process to start anything like this for Madden 12.

            Re: Genuine Question

We don't post as much but we still view the site and threads. For example, I visit OS at least once every other day. In a typical week I visit the Madden forum here at least 4 or 5 times.

We see the feedback but just don't have the bandwidth to post as much as we did before.

Thanks for the answer. I (as well as others) just felt somewhat disconnected and just knowing that people are watching would promote people to share there ideas instead of just sitting on them

did adembroski get an actual job? if so, that would be a huge win for him and the sim community.

its a win for everybody.... You would be surprised but about 95% of tourney players want the same gameplay fixes that the sim community want

It's my experience that the real difference between the competitive player and the sim player is that the sim player actively avoids exploits where as the competitive one does not. Neither of them want exploits to be there, both want that kind of stuff fixed.

For the record, I don't really deal with gameplay at this point.
There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.
