Can't turn off auto save?
 

for some reason i can't seem to turn off the Auto save feature on this game.

I've turned it off on the AutoSave in the Main Options, and this seems to turn off Auto Saveing the settings, sliders etc.
But my main problem is it seems to Auto Save all the time in the Franchise or Career mode.

btw, I'm playing on the PC version.

any help would be appreciated. thank you

I don't think you can turn off auto save in franchise or career mode.

I know in NBA 2K11 you can toggle auto save on/off when setting up an association mode file, but that option doesn't seem to exist in this game.

yeah, I also remember seeing the option in NBA 2K as well as all other sports games.

strange... 1st time seeing a sports game without an option to turn this off.

Thatseemed a lilttle odd to me as well. Was it in last year's game?

It's been that way for the last 2 games before this year's. It really sucks, the auto-save is triggered no matter what after you save your game. You can avoid activating auto-save initially but after you save it later on, it's activated.

Same problem last year. They offered the option to turn off auto save, but it didn't actually turn off auto save.

Kind of like having a light switch in your house that doesn't seem to do anything.

Worst thing about this game, especially when you're trying to set rosters in franchise

yeah sucks if u want to fool around and try/change new stuff in your franchise or MyPlayer.

the only workaround i've found is make a 2nd save, do your thing, and if you want to go back, load your savefile#1.
