Major League Baseball 2K11 Review (360)
For the past couple years I have been rooting for the MLB 2K series. At one point on the last-gen consoles, it was a masterful series. But when MLB 2K6 came out on the current-gen consoles, the franchise unfortunately spiraled out of control. That downward spiral culminated in MLB 2K9, one of the more disappointing games in recent memory. However, I thoroughly enjoyed MLB 2K10 despite its flaws, and I had very high hopes for MLB 2K11. So did MLB 2K11 find its source of power this time around, or did it just find another way to swing and miss? |

I'm starting to notice the AI's questionable handling of pitchers...
It's going to take a heck of a patch to save this game. |
Pretty much spot on review, I only disagree with the graphics and the overall score.
To each their own in the graphics area as was mentioned in the article. |
Christian as always I love your reviews.
This one is no different. 7.0 is exactly where I would put it, which is a resounding success, seeing as where we were with 2k just 2 years ago. |
This is spot on imo. Great job Christian.

Seems to be an ongoing theme with any 2k sports title not named NBA. Lack of polish and questionable franchise AI. In fact I think that's pretty much been the ongoing statement since moving to 360/PS3.

Five whole sentences about gameplay - by far the most important aspect of a sports video game, right?

So, for those of us on the fence, would folks recommend buying 2k11 if we already have 2k10? Is there enough improvement to justify the cost?
