difficult to adjust to timing in online games...

Is it just me or is this still a problem for most? I get good games offline on all-star setting but when I try to play online the adjustment is just too difficult. All strike games don't mimic real life baseball maybe slow pitch softball but certainly not baseball. So frustrating when you have a good baseball game but can't play against human opponents without the lag ruining it.

Yeah it sucks. I am totally against strike only games but its impossible to have an eye online cause you have no time at all to react to a fastball.

Its terrible really. Hope it gets adjusted.

You can fix alot of this with custom sliders but for rank games why bother because even if the game worked perfectly no one would play right in those games anyways.

I agree. The pitch speed is definitely different on-line vs. head-to-head gaming. Friends of mine and I try to adjust for the difference, but it's a nightmare for me as I find myself swinging too fast on fast balls, which in real-life is virtually impossible. This problem coupled with lag issues only serves to further compound the problem.

i found a solid balance for the offline and online gaming..

it seems that pitch speed 75 to 80 seems to work solid offline and make going online not much different than playing offline IMO..
