    2011 Team Colors 1, 2, 3 Guidelines

Hey guys, I just went through every team, checking out the colors 1, 2, 3 of each team. Tested by using the Catchers equipments. The AL Teams, some of their color 3 may be mixed with the charcoal/black as they are a bit tough to tell the difference but got the NL pretty much accurate and didn't feel like going back to check out the AL to get the 3rd black/charcoal correct lol. So 1st, 2nd are pretty much the primary colors.

    Baltimore – 1 (ORANGE), 2 (BLACK), 3 (BLACK)
    Boston – 1 (RED), 2 (NAVY BLUE), 3 (BLACK)
NY Yankees – 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (SILVER), 3 (BLACK)
Tampa Bay – 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (LIGHT BLUE), 3 (YELLOW)
    Toronto - 1 (BLACK), 2 (BLUE), 3 (CHARCOAL)
    Chicago WS - 1 (BLACK), 2 (CHARCOAL), 3 (BLACK)
    Cleveland - 1 (RED), 2 (NAVY BLUE), 3 (BLACK)
    Detroit - 1 (BLACK), 2 (ORANGE), 3 (CHARCOAL)
    Kansas City - 1 (BLUE), 2 (GOLD), 3 (SILVER)
    Minnesota - 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (RED), 3 (BLACK)
    Anaheim - 1 (RED), 2 (NAVY BLUE), 3 (CHARCOAL/BLACK)
    Oakland - 1 (GREEN), 2 (YELLOW), 3 (SILVER)
    Seattle - 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (GREEN), 3 (SILVER)
    Texas - 1 (BLUE), 2 (RED), 3 (BLACK)
    Atlanta - 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (RED), 3 (CHARCOAL)
    Florida - 1 (BLACK), 2 (TEAL), 3 (CHARCOAL)
    Washington - 1 (RED), 2 (NAVY BLUE), 3 (GOLD)
    NY Mets - 1 (BLUE), 2 (ORANGE), 3 (BLACK)
    Philadelphia - 1 (RED), 2 (BLUE), 3 (BLACK)
    Chicago Cubs - 1 (BLUE), 2 (RED), 3 (CHARCOAL)
    Cincinnati - 1 (RED), 2 (CHARCOAL), 3 (BLACK)
    Houston - 1 (RED), 2 (CREAM), 3 (BLACK)
    Milwaukee - 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (GOLD), 3 (BLACK)
    Pittsburgh - 1 (YELLOW), 2 (BLACK), 3 (BLACK)
St. Louis - 1 (RED), 2 (NAVY BLUE), 3 (BLACK)
    Arizona - 1 (RED), 2 (BLACK), 3 (CREAM)
    Colorado - 1 (PURPLE), 2 (BLACK), 3 (BLACK)
    Los Angeles - 1 (BLUE), 2 (BLUE), 3 (BLACK)
San Diego - 1 (NAVY BLUE), 2 (CREAM), 3 (BLACK)
    San Francisco - 1 (ORANGE), 2 (BLACK), 3 (BLACK)

Should help you roster makers out. Enjoy!

why does SCEA set up a *team colors* anyway?......if im the red sox why not just set the catchers chest protector to *red* versus *team color 1*

    i'm not following the logic

Because when that player moves to another team in franchise or RTTS, his equipment would stay red. By using the team colors it will change the equipment to the colors of the current team the player is on. So by using team color 1, if a guy gets traded from the Sox to the A's, his equipment would change from red to green. I hope that makes sense.

while i have you guys......here's my situation with equipment...if a guy is wearing a white/black cleat for home games THEN a grey/black cleat for road games how can i mimmick that in the game?

            You can't, at least I don't think.

If they had different team colors for home/away, that would be possible. Otherwise, I don't think you can do that.

Yes, that plus some teams has a different shade of red, blue, or whatever that probably aren't on the list of custom colors. So using team colors will have their true colors most likely.

Well you technically can but it would be a hell of a lot of work since you'd have to manually change it before and after every road trip. Hopefully home and away equipment is an option in next year's game.

that is the logic behind it but there is a glitch this year (not sure if it was there last year). My guy started out in Padres AA team (San Antonio Missions)...he got sent up to AAA Tucson Padres but the TEAM COLORS 1, 2, and 3 stayed the same as before. Instead of being blue and white, they were black and yellow (AA team colors). I mentioned it in the Bug thread and posted a picture.

But don't these team colors change depending on what uniform (Home/Away/Alt) you wear?

Like I feel like if you set some one's batting glove color to 'Team Color 1', it won't necessarily be the same during home and away games. I could be wrong though.

Yeah I was thinking that too but I did try few teams as home and away but remained the same so hopefully that will be the case.

I play with the Braves and I am almost positive it happens with them.

Ah.. it's really nothing we can do I guess. For the teams that are different at home and away, might as well pick the color from the list instead of team colors. Up to you guys.
