    New Kick Off Rules

Will the new kick off ruling make it into Madden 12?

I hope this is allowed. If not I apologize.
This must be the year that EA finally gives the Bucs our orange pants.
That we wore for about a decade.
    NOT!!!

I'd be shocked if it wasn't in.

Is that a serious question? If the rule change is applied in the NFL, of course it will be in Madden, is there really any doubt about that?
You gotta have Hope! (My Minnesota Vikings franchise)

After an incredible 2012 season ends with a Super Bowl win, Hope Turner and her Vikings are trying to prove that their performance was more than just a one-shot.

Not unless you have Mason Crosby as your kicker . Nevertheless, it shouldn't impact the game that much, as no one takes knees in Madden anyways, so you'd have to kick it clear through the endzone to get a higher number of touchbacks. I can easily see the devs scaleing back the kick power on kickoffs to compensate for this, if TB's do become a problem, using the new tuner stes.

Prater kicking off at Mile High is going to be fun. Going to try and hit the uprights

David Buehler and Billy Cundiff were much better at creating touchbacks by far.

There is no kickoff rating in Madden so 99 power >>>>>

Does altitude even play a role in Madden? I never really noticed. In any game, not just Madden, but The Show as well.

I do kick a lot in Denver but it could just be Prater and his high kick power & the fact their is usually some wind during games, I doubt EA would put that kind of hidden detail into a game these days

Makes sense to be in. Since the new OT rules were put in this year.
