I imported the draft class, and I can scout them or whatever.

But I want to fantasy draft my entire team from scratch, I don't want to draft a team, play a full season, then draft collage people.

You can't fantasy draft with imported classes at the beginning of a franchise. Only the NFL with the current (2010) rookies are in the fantasy draft. Sorry.

Is it still possible to export a roster from several years into a franchise?

You could then load that roster from the main menu prior to starting a new 'chise?

Haven't looked for this option in years... it used to be there...

I don't know if you can use that existing team to start a franchise, but I do know you can export your franchise team in the hub (settings tab) for use in Play Now. I don't see why it wouldn't work, I've just never tried it.
