25 New Plays Coming to NCAA Football 12 - Play #9: Quarters Normal Dbl Loop 3

Over the next few weeks, EA Sports will show 25 new plays that you will find in NCAA Football 12.

New offensive plays will be shown every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while a new defensive play every Tuesday and Thursday. Each new play will be accompanied by a screen of the play art and a brief description of why the play has been added to NCAA Football 12.

Play #9 features the Quarters Normal Dbl Loop 3.

"Quarters Normal Dbl Loop 3 - With the ever increasing popularity of spread style offenses in NCAA Football, we made the decision to add the Quarters Normal formation to the game. The Quarters normal formation features three down linemen, one linebacker, and seven defensive backs. DBL Loop 3 is an overload fire zone concept that’s used to bring pressure to the weak side of the offense."

Will the DE be able to cover space just because a Zone Coverage has been called or will his Zone Coverage ratings actually matter?
Can I finally lob a ball over that DE or does he still have the super jump ability to bat down the ball?

With all the hush-hush, I doubt any of these has been addressed.

Very nice concept against pocket passing QB's, but the Denard Robinson's of the college football world will be round the right end before you can say shoelace.

How long will it take that looping DB (Right side) to get home? More than a 3 count and he wont get there in time.

I like this play for the D. It's going to give the Ai oline something to think about when using this. Can't wait to us when the game comes out.
