    Madden Football 3DS Impressions

All right, I just finished my first game on the new system. First off I just want to say that the 3D effect is pretty sweet. The ability to adjust how intense the 3D is a life saver.

Getting to the gameplay, I'm pretty impressed with how well this game is playing. It's not as good as the console version, but it's a handheld so I was expecting it.

It does feel like some new commentary has been added in, I'll play some M11 to refresh and fact check that.

The design for the playbooks is pretty slick too.

If you guys have any question ask away, or follow me on Twitter @eckoefx_OS for constant updates on the game/system.

Rosters are as current as could be right? Any ability to make trades or roster moves?

Rosters seem to be the same from the latest Madden update. Moss is on the Titans.

And I'm not seeing any ability to trade. It's only season mode, not franchise.

Bah, I don't care so much about trades within a season or a franchise, but locked rosters for the life of the game (in every mode) kinda sucks.

IGN slammed it. Said it was severly stripped down and had some questionable AI.

stripped down Madden? Crazy! Just kidding I love Madden but it's a launch game for a system that isn't for sports. Madden was never good on the normal DS either so I'm not surprised. I know Pastapadre said that most of the reviews destroyed it.

It is very stripped down, but Nintendo wanted to reach out to all gamers on launch. This is easily the worst launch for any system I have ever seen.

But with that said, this game was rushed to be put out on launch. Reviews will slam it, and I can already say our review won't be too high either. But the review should not in anyway reflect the dev team. Remember Madden 06 on the 360? That game was terrible. This game is at least playable, it just lacks any sort of depth. And just ignore the morphing
