When do they usually release the official opening day roster update? Im waiting for that to start my season.

Believe deadline for Monday Roster updates is Thursdays, so we might not see a true opening day roster until Monday the 11th. I say this because some teams start season tomorrow.

Looks like it's available today. Any player that hasn't played an official major league game (spring training games do not count) isn't eligible to be in the game yet. So, there is an updated roster for opening day, but rookies starting the season with the big league club will not be in the game until they play a game. There's a chance they will update on Thursday with rookies who play the first day or two, but odds are the 15th will be the first major update with rookies (for example, even if they update on the 8th, some starting pitchers that are rookies won't have made their first start or some bullpen guys may not get in a game the first day or two).

They have updated the player photos For example Brennan Boesch and Vernon Wells have a Yankees Photo.

almost every transfer was updated with a new photo but cespedes still has a cyberface...

Anyone know if they patched the rookie system? Last time I played Shelby wasn't considered a rookie. And what about the waiver system? Last time I played I also DFA Mike Trout in an attempt to see if anyone would claim him...and they didn't. Not sure why they would include the waiver system if it doesn't work.

Saw that which is awesome. Will the player portraits be in effect with othe rosters in the vault for example osfm?

Maybe I'm confused, but doesn't Mike Trout have options available to be sent to the minors? Why would he have to go through waivers?

I DFA him meaning I took him off the 40 man roster. He then has to clear waivers to stay with the organization.

Micheal Bourn, Jason Giambi and Juan Rivera, Kelly Johnson, Chris Carter, lyle overbay...IM sure there are other. Lots of players have not been upadted though. Hopefully SCEA will keep updating them.
