Who's got some impressions for TW12 on the Wii?

I remember when TW10 came out and half of us here ended up getting that instead, now I haven't read any impressions on OS yet.

Since it looks like the Move is somewhat of a failure this year I may just dust off my Wii and grab the TW12 version. I liked TW10 and was easy to navigate but the career mode was bare bones and it had bugs and rubberband AI scoring so I traded it in.

I know some people here said that in TW11 (I played it for an hour one time and found it pretty hard) the controls were even better with Truview, and at the higher difficulty levels was pretty realistic. I assume it's the same for this year and can I also assume the career mode is the exact same as the PS3\Xbox version?

I do wanna play with friends so the inferior graphics doesn't matter and I got the PS3 game if I want eye candy. I guess at the highest difficulty it would be pretty hard to break 80 because it takes in all factors of your swing. It sounds like fun if you're with a few friends drinking and hacking around Augusta trying to break 100 and betting on rounds.

Who's got it and what do you think?

I have it, mostly because I too was a little wary about the PS3's Move support, but as it happened, the Move support is so much better this year that all I've done on the Wii version is played a couple rounds of disc golf. I have absolutely no desire to play the actual golfing with anything other than the Move now that I've gotten used to the way you have to accomplish certain things due to the Move's lack of a D-pad. And the graphics are going to be an issue for me after playing so much on the PS3.

So, sorry I can't be more specific. I might play a round or two before I trade the Wii version in and if so I'll post some impressions here.

Augusta aside, I think TW11 was a much better game.

I play with the chicken stick on tour pro with default attributes and the driver maxed at about 290 and TW 12 is much easier than last years game as far as ball striking.
Putting was a little harder without the meter but Ive adjusted and its the same. I find the mis-hits aren't penalizing enough even with a profile with 4 accuracy. It's a shame they took the club tuner out because you could really make the game alot more difficult by upping the draw/fade range. Ive yet to shank or hit one OB or really miss far offline despite some +/- 5 degree errors.

Career mode is a little better than TW11, simply because they made an effort as far as presentation goes.

I realize the way I play is in the far minority, and hardcore sim, and it sounds like for what you want it would be perfect.

If you haven't played TW11, I would imagine its a pretty good upgrade from TW10.

If you and your buddies knock back a few too many you can always drop down from the M+ setting, and with the new caddie deal is pretty straight forward and intuitive.
