MLB '11: The Show Roster Edits

I have been using TripleThreat's formulas for position players on the April 4th roster update. For OSers that don't have time to do this, I'll be posting the ratings I change here.

Teams I have finished so far are:
    Atlanta Braves
    Florida Marlins

    Currently working on:
    Washington Nationals

Nice work so far. These look pretty good. Keep it up.

BTW, where's the defensive ratings? That's one aspect of the game that really needs to be corrected, IMO.

This work really isn't my own. It's all using TripleThreat's formulas. I am just doing the hard work and posting the ratings.

Defense does need corrected, but I don't have any idea where to start on accurate defensive ratings...

Florida should be posted tonight or in the morning. Depends on what time I get back home.

I know, but the hardest part of the process is plugging everything in and calculating the values. It's a pain, I've done it, I know how grueling it is.

As for defense, I'm sure ADR (aggregate defensive rating) that combines UZR, TZL, DRS, and fan scouting reports from FanGraphs and a standard deviation of it over a large sample size could work.

I will be posting these for every team. I don't really know how long it will take because it is very time consuming. However, I usually finish about 1 1/2 or 2 teams a day.

I decided to start with the NL and will eventually get to the AL. Last night, I also finished Washington. So, the NL East is almost complete.

Sorry for the posting delay guys. I have been at Turner Field the past two days as well as tomorrow, not at home with my calculator, notebook, etc. so look for the update for the NL East on Monday. Thanks for being patient with me
