Danny Cedeno is Aquilino Lopez, who is now pitching in Korea.
Cedeno is in the Rays AAA affiliate.

Another name to add:

Chad Turner, SP for the Reds' AAA team, is Daryl Thompson, a Reds AAA pitcher who was part of the Kearns to Nationals trade in 2006.

There is a Word document in another thread here that has this information provided as well.

Also note that 2K is notorious for having these players with incorrect skin colors or player models that aren't close to their real-life player...

I found Pedro Beato on the Mets AA team under the name Francisco Figueroa (6'6" 220lbs.) and Athletics top prospect Jemile Weeks on the FA list under the name Les Gonzalez (birthdate matches along with the trademark Weeks family dreadlocks).

Did anybody find the fake player names for some of the "super prospects" in this game (I.E, those rated above a 70)? For example, there's a 2B on the Dodgers rated a 74 (Who I thought originially was Dee Gordon or Ivan DeJesus Jr.), Shortstop on the White Sox rated a 73, Shortstop on the Marlins (Who I originally thought was Matt Dominguez), etc. Also, I think I found Kirk Nieuwenhuis in the Mets AAA system (Don't remember the name, but was an Outfielder and attributes and personal data seemed close to realistic).

Beato is on the Mets in the latest roster update.

Trevor Reckling is the only one so far, under the alias of Dallas Griffin in the Angels system. I don't think there's any other ones I've found.

He is a fake player. I have come across him on the 2 lists that have the fake names. I just changed him into a new fake player for one of the weaker teams
