    Batters can call TO.

    If anyone cares/or already knows but all you do is hit down on the directional pad to get time at the plate in a crucial situation as they do in the bigs. Accidentally found it while i was playing it just a few hours ago, dont remember seeing it in the instruction manual.

          Pitchers can also now step off the rubber at any time to regroup.

                      I don't know why you can't call time out when playing online. I mean the pitcher can still step off the rubber so it seems as though the batter should have the same option

                          because some dumb *** would abuse it and probably do it every at bat or after every pitch.

                                          L1 I think. What ever you use to do it when there are runners on base. You can do it without them on base now.

                                                  Can CPU hitters ever call timeout? It'd be a nice touch that would add to the pitcher/batter dual when the human is pitching. Also could intensify crucial moments. I've tried to test this but if I let the pitcher stand there it always goes to those goofy animations after a minute or so.

                                                      Yeah, I don't think the CPU can do this on its own. I think they actually put their hand out if the human pitcher calls time though.

                                                          this was in 10 the show ( never did it/attempted it in any older games ) i did it a few times in my yankees offline franchise
