    Trade AI Down the Stretch

Does anyone know/ have any personal experience with trading with the AI nearer the deadline than earlier in the season? Im curious to know whether or not teams that are out of a pennant race are more likely to deal in this game as they are in real life.

    Any insight is appreciated.

I was the nats and tried to get Carlos lee and I used the trade finder. At the beginning of the season the only thing that came up was laroche. Didn't do that. Deadline came around needed a bat I thought let's try lee again. Roger bernadina came up as well as laroche. Bernadina 73 with **** I think for lee 82 **** so yes. It did change

Yes, in my first Reds franchise, that I restarted, I got Cole Hamels for next to nothing. I think I have up a big league reliever and two mediocre AAA prospects. They gave him up because he had been on a 5 start losing streak. I picked him up and he went from having a ERA over 6, to an ERA of just over 3 by the end of August.

So it appears highly rated players that are being unproductive will be able to be traded for on the cheap, thats great info, thanks a lot
