Is 10 still a decent game?

I'm thinking about getting a baseball game since we have a PS3 now and because of all the great things I've read about it. I'm not that much of a baseball fan but I had fun with the 2k demos. So, is 10 still a good game to get because I don't want to spend $120 on 11?

Yeah, $120NZD for 11 but I can get 10 for $40NZD.

11 has some selling-points, to be sure, but if you're just talking about casually throwing it in now and then, 10 is just as good, no question.

This place ships internationally. Don't know how the shipping cost works out for you. I got mine from them this year, so are others who aren't currently in the US.

Yeah, 10 is still a very good game. I still play it from time-to-time thanks to the Classic Rosters.

Assuming $7.49 CAD (which is the shown rate for shipping), that comes to around $90 NZD + conversion charges. $30 may or may not be worth it to the OP for the "international shipping" hassles of items possibly disappearing.

OT: I'm still playing 10, mostly because I don't want to spend $120 on 11. It's a great game (I play RTTS, and there are a few issues, but it's still fun and looks gorgeous).

I'm still waiting for Mighty Ape to drop their price further, I can't imagine it's a big seller here. Let's face it, I've only bought it because there's no decent Cricket game available ...

Ellgieff, are you from NZ as well? I doubt that they'll drop the price, since they still sell 09 for $130.

I am, yes. They might drop the price on 11 at some point - they have 10 for $79.99 new (and $50 second hand), and I bought 10 from them in ?November last year for $80.

I don't get why they have 09 for $130 and 10 for $80, but they do ...
