I'm thinking about downloading this game once the PS Store is back up and running. Anyone have a chance to play that on their PS3 or 360s?

Yes i do own this game. It's a pretty fun pick-up-and-play game. You get power ups and stuff, you get to create your own team of select star players, the list is pretty decent. It's fast paced, just a fun game especially when you're bored and just want to play something, it also has online and trophies.

Its a fun game once you get the hang of it. Lots of fun power ups like tiny goalie and freezing players. Fun times.

To bad they don't update the player roster list. Would add more replay value IMO. Madden Arcade gets roster updates.

Really enjoyed this game for xbox 360. Had a big tournament with about 14 of us.

This game could have been way better if they added more modes and features to it.

The gameplay is solid, but it gets old with nothing to do but play exhibition games. Plus they didn't have the actual NHL teams, even though the game sports the NHL license.

this game is probably one of the best arcade games ever .. loving every minute of it & i am still playing this game till date .. wish they could update the rosters & take out some useless players from the game .. all in all it's an amazing game

This game is suffering the same demise Hitz 2003 did. The perfect game, ruined by outdated rosters/players. Heck, even once a year roster updates, and I'd still be playing 3on3.

Nah, Hitz is way better than this game.

It still has the best franchise mode in any arcade style sports game. That alone has kept it relevant.

The hitting animations also feel way better and have more impact in Hitz. Plus you can knock off people's helmets and check people through the glass, which looks way better than it does even in NHL 12.

It still has the best franchise mode in any arcade style sports game. That alone has kept it relevant.

these type of games need a season mode. even a small franchise where you can play up to say 3 to 5 seasons. bc playing quick games obviously gets old quick.

the killer for me of this game was the ability to ram into the goalie, and then you have an empty net to shoot at. people did it online all the time. i really like this game, though that killed it for me.

this game with OTP (3 on 3 with human goalies), so you'd need 8 people, would be amazing.
