    Does anybody know the answer?

I posted my concerns in another thread, but didn't get a clear answer. I am wondering what happens with the DPP if you play shorter games. I think I read somewhere that at the end of each season your players will progress or regress depending on their performance compared to other players on the same age bracket.

I like the fact that this is performanced based, however I play shorter quarters because I don't have a lot of time on my hands. This means that my defenders always end up with far less tackles than the league leaders, in particular my linebacks. Does this mean that even if they are playing fairly well, will they regress because their stats aren't going to match the other linebackers in the league? Or do you think they will include a feature to have a sim quarter length so that the computer stats will reflect shorter quarters? any help would be much appreciated

I don't think anyone's been in a position to be able to test this kind of thing and provide an answer.

That being said, I don't see why playing unrealistic quarter lengths would merit realistic progression. That goes both ways, short quarters stunting performance and long games on low difficulty boosting performance.

Now I can't say for sure, but it shouldn't matter. It should do it based on the stats the people compile and progression should be just fine

You need to change the SIM Game length to the number of minutes you are playing as, if not it will appear your player's are underachieving, thus resulting in progression stunting and regressing enhancement.

Are we able to change the SIM game length?

You used to be able to, I don't know if you can now. Why don't you put in M11 and find out?

Hmmm this is certainly a concern.
I sure hope there's a workaround. I too tend to play shorter games due to time constraints.

Edit: I just realized that this doesn't really matter because you can now edit player ratings in franchise mode! If you play shorter games and your guys don't progress like you think they should, just progress them yourself!
It would obviously be nice if the game did it for you, but seriously being able to edit player ratings in franchise mode is going to make me so happy whenever stuff like this comes up.
