How many times have you restarted your franchise?

This is my first year playing the show and I might have restarted my franchise about 15 times by now. Everytime I want to use a new slider, roster, or a new style of hitting/pitching - I restart... Anybody else have this same disease?

Yup, I do.

I hate starting over, but if I make a significant change, I feel like I almost have to.

I'm about to start over. Got about 30 games into my first dynasty, but it reached the point where it was more frustrating than fun. So I decided to drop down to Veteran and start anew.

I don't know what the deal is with everyone always wanting to restart. Just apply the changes and keep playing. People are wayyyy too crazy about their rosters on here. It's going to change throughout the season(s), anyway!

I'm playing with SCEA's March 8th roster in my Reds franchise. There's players on my team that aren't with the real Reds. But I don't care, because it's my team. It makes it fun.

I used to be the type that always restarted their franchise no matter how small the change was, but this is the first year that I have stopped myself from doing it. I've realized that doing this multiple times pretty much ruins my franchise for me (i.e. having CC Sabathia have a great month and a half, only to restart my franchise and see him doing terribly. . .this type of stuff irks me!).

I've restarted about 6 times. In past years, I would restart after any little slider change, but this year, unless the change was substantial (which is ok for the first few weeks with the game trying to get sliders right), I kept on playing. Now when I make one click slider adjustments, I just keep on going and I'm happy where I am as I am progressing in my franchise.

I started 2 franchises before the OS rosters came out, but I went into them knowing they were just for slider testing.

Once I was happy with the sliders/difficulty, I started my real franchise and haven't looked back. I'm currently 51 games in, and I'm definitely glad I didn't catch the restart bug like I did last year.

Restarted about 8 times mostly because I was trying to get a few franchise trophies like winning the world series with the Cubs,etc.

I mostly do that though when I feel like I'm been winning too many games (Like first game I would hit 17 hits with 15 runs then next day 20 runs)

Zero times... I started the day OSFM was released and haven't looked back. I have however, adjusted sliders, difficulty, presentation settings on the fly until I felt they were just right (realistic) - not sure why you would reset for anything other than rosters... but with OSFM you have every player there, and you can even edit their attributes.

Gameplay settings should balance out over the long run.

I'm trying to start a new franchise but I can't. I click start new franchise and then when i try and save i get "Can't find the current saved file which was created by another user, therefore no further progress can be saved."

its a NEW franchise I'm trying to start, why does this error pop up?

Load your sliders. Then try to save your franchise. It should work.

I usually am not so quick to start my franchise over, but this year I just can't seem to settle on a team. Switched three times so far.

Just once when the OS full minors/majors were uploaded to Sports Connect.


Sticking with the Yankees and will start a Marlins Chise this weekend. Also just started a RTTS SP drafted by the Angels and in AA (18 year old rookie).

I ahve restarted about 10 times. I usually get the urge when dumb little things happen or when I make a small change. But now im really trying to fight the urge or i feel like if i do it again it will just ruin everything for me.
