In past years the player I've always traded for is Manny Lawson. His speed attribute is usually the highest among OLB's and having him would allow me to cover an entire side of the field. If I had a shutdown corner on one side I would manually control Lawson on the other.

The One Player You Always Trade For?
Who is the one player you always trade for in Franchise?

Re: The One Player You Always Trade For?
I used to have a mission of making Danny Wuerffel a star, each year Madden came out. Sometimes I love perusing through the free agents and finding guys who should be washed up and extending their careers. Before Cedric Benson brought himself back into the limelight, I would trade for him. That, or I'll start trading for ex-Broncos players that I miss. -
Re: The One Player You Always Trade For?
I used to get Manny a lot as well. if you turn him into a DE his overall rating goes way up. ANd you should try fantasy drafting. That way you get a lot of xour favorite players. KInda fun to draft a complete team but leave out a position, like QB, and try and win with a scrub Or rookieNFL - Texans - Dolphins
MLB - White Sox
NBA - Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo
NCAA - Ohio State - NC StateComment

Re: The One Player You Always Trade For?
Used to be Donte Stallworth, I would always bring him back to the Saints. But this past year his rating have taken a hit (as they should) and he's not the fastest guy on the field anymore. Toby Gerheart is a guy I would trade for as a backup in each of my franchises. He can get hit behind the line and still tumble forward for five or six yards.Comment

Re: The One Player You Always Trade For?
Well in the past few years I would usually trade Steve Smith of the Panthers and a number 1 overall to get a good QB. Because in the past 3 years on Madden. The Panthers have not had a decent QB. So I would go out and trade smith to a team with a good backup or trade for a star QB to come in and give Carolina good passing game. In Madden 11 I went for Rookie stand out Sam Bradford as my starting QB. So far he has been a outstanding QB so far for my team. Good accuracy , Good arm strength aswell. So overall he has been a good QB for my team.Last edited by PantherBeast_OS; 05-23-2011, 12:16 PM.Comment

Re: The One Player You Always Trade For?
I often didn't trade because of the elephant in the room (being able to fleece teams), but when I did, I always tried to get WR Ramses Barden.Comment

Arnaz Battle. He's always a part of a rebuilding project, and I don't know why.The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.Comment
