Re: Team Ratings
Clemson is 91 OVR, 90 OFF, 90 DEF
I'm pretty pumped they had an awesome recruiting class this past year and with a new offense they are going to be fun to play with, especially starting a dynasty considering how young they are. We had 4 5* so it will be interesting to see their player ratings. -
Re: Team Ratings
Ole Miss is an 88 overall.
I'd love for an Ole Miss fan/s to defend that ridiculously high rating for a team that went 4-8 last year.
I get the SEC is great thing as I'm a fan of a team in it, but some of these ratings are a bit over the top. I'm afraid Auburn is going to get rated far too high as well...they have nothing back from last year's team. Use some common sense EA.
I also love how Kentucky can go to 5 straight bowl games and yet we will probably still be rated 4-5 overalls lower than Ole Miss...at least. I don't have an issue with Kentucky being a low 80s ranked school...that's fine, but Ole Miss at 88? Sorry, just one that stood out to me.Comment

Re: Team Ratings
I am an Auburn fan, I don't think we will be overrated... I think after 2 straight top 5 recruiting classes we should be young but talented. All the ratings I've seen look high this year to me. I'll say Auburn should be
overall - 90
offense - 92 mainly because of Gus
defense- 87
That is just going off what I think it should be considering Bama 99 Rating and Ole Miss 88 rating.Comment

Re: Team Ratings
I'd be ok with that ranking. It appears a lot of schools are in the 90s this year...a 90 is fine with the recruiting classes, and potential of your young players.I am an Auburn fan, I don't think we will be overrated... I just figured with you guys 12th in the polls they might jack you up to 94 or 95.
What do you think about Ole Miss being an 88? I guess due to them getting semi decent recruiting classes that explains it somewhat but they lost quite a bit of starters from last year's team as well.Comment

Yeh Auburn has had some really good recruits come in the past few years, it seems a lot of people think they aren't going to be that good but they are going to be solid, especially with Dyer.Comment

I am not going to quote the whole list to avoid cluttering the thread but I just thought it was kind of odd that ALMOST every single school on that list has a better or near equal O than D. Maybe it is accurate to real life but I just took notice to that and found it interesting.Comment

Re: Team Ratihttp://www.operationsports.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquotngs
Looks like they bumped up the better non-AQs a bit. The team ratings looked to be grouped together and not directly comparable.
Elite teams - = 92-99
Good/Prestigous BCS teams - = 85-91
Decent to lower BCS/ Upper mid-majors = 77-84
Average mid-majors - = 70-76
Bad Mid-majors - =60-69Comment

Re: Team Ratings
These ratings are way too high.
Wish list for 2013:
Totally new dynamic commentary
Totally new ratings system
Then again, if they simply allow editing of ratings I can do a lot of them myself lol.Comment

Re: Team Ratings
Ya I cross checked them with the coaching carosel video and some match and some don't.Originally posted by Tex_agmlbSome of the ratings from the Kirk video are incorrect. They are not the ratings that the game will ship with. If you look in that video it had Texas ranked at #3 and Texas a&m unranked, which is not right for the upcoming year. they are most likely last years ratings or ratings from a future season in dynasty modeComment

Re: Team Ratings
Yeah, every team so far is higher than they should be. 6-7 Tennessee is 89? 6-7 Clemson is 91? 4-8 Ole Miss is 88? 4-8 Cincinnati is 88? 6-7 UGA is 91? Makes no sense at all, none of those teams should be above 85, at best. There are a lot of other examples but I don't want to list them all. I'm not trying to knock these schools either but teams that had losing records the previous season should not be rated a B or B+.Comment
