Hell yes. I know no other way to play dynasty mode (see sig below). For me, what's the use of playing it if I am not documenting stuff and can go back and look at it?
It increases the enjoyment level tenfold plus it is fun to have an audience. Dynasty mode would seem pointless for me without doing a report.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: Do you document your dynasty?
I mean this with no offense (honestly), but why would other people care about your dynasty? Are these friends or just random people from the intertubes that you're sharing with? Seems like documenting everything would take time away from actually having fun and playing the game. I can see if it's a Dynasty Wire thing and you're doing it with league members or something, but this sounds more like a solo venture.Hell yes. Re: Do you document your dynasty?
I've done it in the past, and with CC I plan on doing it again this year. It doesn't really matter to me whether people read or not. It's a fun exercise to try to emulate all of the storylines and stats of real life reporting into a virtual world of NCAA. It's fun to me.
In fact, I just found my Akron one where I went all out on it... check it out. Be warned: Most of the images are broken now. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...s-dynasty.htmlLast edited by The GIGGAS; 06-03-2011, 09:03 PM.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: Do you document your dynasty?
Some people like me just like reading about the dynasties even if we don't know the people. They're fun to read if done right. Deegeezy's dynasty is amazing. You should check it out.I mean this with no offense (honestly), but why would other people care about your dynasty? Re: Do you document your dynasty?
Thanks for the kind words guys.
As others have stated, if you're able to find a niche and put out a product that people will be entertained by, several people will follow. You'll build a strong base of followers and before you know it, you'll have 70 to 100 internet people you've never met consistently reading your dynasty.I mean this with no offense (honestly), but why would other people care about your dynasty? Heck, there is a HARDCORE set of about 20 chisers that have been following my chises and me likewise following theirs for a good 6+ years...We don't know each other, but we know each other and look forward to reading each other's work every year.Click here to read my dynasty report:

I cant wait until you do your 12' dynasty now. You really did go all out and you have an amazing talent hahaI've done it in the past, and with CC I plan on doing it again this year. Re: Do you document your dynasty?
This would be my first dynasty for football on OS, I used to do them on Dynasty Central and manager, I keep an avid dynasty site up just to keep up stats for history. If Avid updates to allow for team movement to go along with my coaching dynasty it would help a lot more.
I've had a few on IGN, off the top of my head
Belvidere Buccaneers
Northern Illinois Huskies
Nebraska Huskers
and a CAP Purdue dynastyBulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

Re: Do you document your dynasty?
I've wanted to document my NCAA dynasties but I'm not confident in my ability to keep it interesting.
If I was confident in myself to present some type of storylines then I'd probably try to do one in the OS dynasty section, so if anyone has some tips on how you keep things interested I'd be open to listening.Last edited by Buke14; 06-04-2011, 03:53 AM.Go Vols!

Re: Do you document your dynasty?
I don't think great dynasties have to have a storyline. Storylines help yeah but at the same time sometimes the game itself becomes irrelevant. I've seen dynasties with great storylines fall apart because the focus was too heavy on storylines. My dynasties will occasionally have a few storylines but for the most part it will mainly be games and I tend to get a good following.I've wanted to document my NCAA dynasties but I'm not confident in my ability to keep it interesting.

Re: Do you document your dynasty?
I document the numbers, standings, bowls that type of thing because I like to see if the game logic makes an ounce of sense. NCAA 11 seemed a bit iffy at times with what came out at season's end, so I'm hoping 12 is a bit better. I don't like write accounts of what happened, but I might keep up with it a bit more depending on schedule this fall.Comment
