Madden 2012 Questions (E3 Related)

I will be at E3 this week with a couple other OS cohorts, so if you have some questions about Madden, then post them here. Presumably, I will have a chance to talk with some developers while there etc. so keep that in mind as well.

I can't promise every question will get answered, but we shall try to get you guys the info you thirst for.

I wouldn't mind a sticky either.

I was just wondering if they took the time to add lots of "little things" this year. Just subtle things like The Show does.

I know thats a bad question but I couldn't think of anything else. lol

Will DPP cause the CPU to adjust if a player on your team is on a down game?

IE If I'm the Eagles and Michael Vick is cold with the passing stats, will the CPU play more contain D knowing I basically have to rely on the run? ..Conversely, if my star CB is cold, will the CPU QB target his side more?

What sort of trade system is used?
IE. Madden style, 1-3 players/picks for 1-3 or HC style, 1 for 1-3

Hey Chase, I guess the first thing is when you play Madden this week for the first time, does it look and feel different than in years past.

1. Are the graphics and new lighting that noticeable when you first start up the game?

2. Do you notice a difference with player movement such as running, jumping and even Just walking back to the huddle. Does it seem more refined?

3.the big question is........ Do you get the same feeling like you do on Sundays when watching a real NFL game?

great news i do hve a few questions

can you find out about coaching mode ?
can you ask if the bus scene with players getting off and the scene where they are in the locker room before coming out to the fields is still in the game ?
reason i ask is that was one of the coolest features from last year and would make sence to keep them i hate when they remove the good stuff.

can you ask if there will be any new dlc ?

can you ask if the penalty sliders will actually work ?

can you ask if there is any qb snap fumbles ?

can you ask if there is fog like ncaa ?

can you ask if weather is dynamic ?

can you ask if there is mid season firings ?

can you ask if other teams will offer you trades ?

can you ask if there is any retired players in the game ?

can you ask if the game will be 3D capable ?

can you ask if there will be any past super bowl teams ?

can you ask if the crowd is more ambient and dynamic like the show ?

can you ask if the trading cards are 3D for ultimate team

can you ask if there are any new run blocking improvements with the addition of dynamic performance or in general. ?

Are physical attributes (speed, strength) ever adjusted when player is on hot or cold streak?

Is there Defensive Lock Camera (similar to NCAA) in the game?

Do teams adjust if someone is struggling? (Steelers slide to help Starks against Ware)

Are there more types of penalties?

Is the passing game any better? I am referring to ball trajectory and speed of the ball in the air. QB's in Madden throw the ball way to fast and the trajectory of passes just seems way off in previous next- gen versions.

Also, is the crowd noise and gameday atmosphere improved as far as audio goes?

Is sliding/warping/morphing still evident?

Do LB's still make super leaps for the ball?

Is commentary changed/better than last year?

Do CB's still mirror WR routes?

Do ALL the penalties work this year besides holding, face mask and user offsides?

How has Gameflow changed? Does it still use an auto-coach cam to show you the play?

Also, can you check to see if defenders' names show in pre-play coach cam? It's hard to identify matchups when you can't see who's covering who...

Is there anyway we can see more team personalization of the main menu i.e. when we picked our "favorite team" pictures of our the team's superstars would be displayed in substitute of the default images?

Could they elaborate on how a coach affects the team?
As players years add up do their skill start to fall?
Does the cpu actually use two rbs for teams that run two rbs?
Was there any new penalties added?
Did the new rules for contact with punters, kickers and qbs make it in?
Has the cameras for challenges been fixed? Also did the fix the logic. too many times the wr tip toed out of bounds and they still called it a catch?
With the revamp of zone defense does awr , zone coverage , man coverage mean more on defense?

Three questions...
has the commentary changed at all?

how does the presentation look as were nearing the final stages?

They said there will be stadium exteriors shown throughout the game, how do they look?

DPP & Ratings question:

May be a silly question, but are we able to see the rating changes? I mean if I play two ranchise games with the same team, will I see different ratings when I go into the depth chart? Or are the swings controlled under-the-hood via DPP, confidence, and consistency?

It got me thinking when you gave the Fitzgerald example in your recent article, mentioning that Donny would just tweak the traits/confidence instead of altering the ratings.

Is there a Create-A-Stadium function for EXISTING teams that do not want to move (or alternatively, can you fool the system and "move" but keep your name and everything else intact)?

49ers and Vikings fans will be suffering deep into franchise, since they will each be moving in the next 5 years or so.
