For those who dont touch the realm of Unranked/Ranked games, you can ignore this.

The Pause Glitch has to be one of the most annoying things about playing online. You've got the victory sealed and what do ya know he freezes you. This frustrates the hell out of me.

So I was wondering, will it still be in NCAA Football '12?

Of course it won't still be in the game, but there'll certainly be a new different glitch to take its place.

I HOPE it's not still in the game. It completely ruined the experience for me.
But you are saying that with a lot of confidence in EA when they always seem to forget SOMETHING.

woah there old ye of lil faith...whos to say it wont still be in? these have all been in since at least ncaa 09 that i know of unfortunately gotta love the legacy issues that never get fixed lol

In 90+ ranked matches I havent seen this once and still am confused when people talk about it

Its basically when the game is paused they can freeze it in many different ways. I'm not exactly sure how its done but I know it has something to do with pulling out your ethernet cable at the right time. I've been paused glitched over 50 times sice the game came out, no exageration.

I really wish you could give a 1-5 rank to your opponents in terms of how they play. So if someone plays straight, you give them a 5 out of 5. If they are a glitcher/cheeser you can give them a 1 and warn others in the future to not play them. I'm a guy who plays straight and care very little about my win/loss record.

Expressing confidence that something has been removed is a show of "lil faith"?

I don't play online enough (barely actually), so I have no idea what this is or how its done, but is there actually a way to get rid of it (i.e. pulling the ethernet plug/ turning off the console are cheap ways for a lesser player to avoid taking a loss that cannot be fixed by EA).

The problem with this approach is that those same douche bags that cheese you like crazy that you rate as a 1, will rate you as a 1 as well. You could play straight up and beat some cheeser and it's pretty much a guarantee that he's gonna give you a 1. The only people that would rate you highly are other sim guys, but who's to say if their votes will offset all of the bogus 1s you've gotten?

Isn't there some type of timer that prevents extended pauses? It's been a while since I played online and I never ran into this glitch.

The one that most pause glitchers use is this. They wait for you to click resume game then they do something to make the game freeze. But my games been frozen once the other player clicks start multiple times lol.

There was also a gitch where the payer would wait for the playcall timer to go down to 1 because it would go 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2,1 and in between 1 and 2 they would pull out their ethernet chord but that was patched up. My concern is that since they didnt patch the pause glitch it may be something that can not be fixed.

The things that the top players will do to keep their rank is pretty redicuous. Ranked games are really all I play and most of the top 100 are not deserving of their spots.

As far as online this is a huge problem. I just finished playing the #10 ranked guy L_A_Bomber33(PS3) I was winning 21-0 when he froze me and talked some tarsh(inaudible) over the TV. This needs to be #1 priority for online(non-dynasty). Or at least have some report system.
