I need help naming divisions in my new Big East
 

I am creating a new big east with these divisions

WVU
Pitt
Rutgers
Syracuse
UCONN
Temple


Louisville
USF
Cincinatti
TCU
Houston
UCF


I'm looking for something good I dont want to go just North/South.....any ideas?

If you got rid of Louisville and Cinci in the bottom division you could go with a civil war theme like me. Either Union/Rebel or Blue/Grey

I like this we need more division name type threads because I don't want to have any divisions with directional names, way too boring, but I need some more ideas

I used different teams but I went with Liberty and Colonial in mine. But I made the Big East more East Coast centric. So that might not work for you?

Well my Big East will be like this

Old School Division
West Virginia
Pittsburgh
Cincinatti
Louisville
Rutgers
Temple

New School Division
TCU
Baylor
SMU
Houston
Troy
UCF

Basically since Temple was in the Big East, their reinclusion isnt technically a new addition so they can still be considered part of the Old School portion of the Big East while every team in the New School division are all new additions to the Conference.

They also all happen to be in the South so you do get a very natural North vs South or Blue vs Grey feeling that you really are not going to get in any other conference. The ACC is just on the east coast so it is not all that inclusive and the southern teams outclass the northern teams by quite a bit where as this Big East set up is very equal in my opinion.

Side note: UConn and USF have both gone to the ACC in my set up due to Clemson and Florida State going to the SEC hence why neither of those teams are in my Big East.

Or you could call it the conference with the best bowl record during the BCS era. Yeah, I said it lol.

You could use the Mason Dixon Line somehow. I need to think of something as well for my dynasty.
