Is It Just Me Or Does The Cam Angle Changes Gameplay

I really don't know if its just me, or when you change camera angles the gameplay changes a bit. I was always a broadcast guy, then I kept on playing friends who played exclusively with the 2K cam. So I just started using the 2K cam for good because I started to like and adapt to it. But today I'm playing my Wolves association, I missed the Broadcast view and how it made the game look 100 times more realistic, so I decided to play one half on 2K and the second half on Broadcast. After I made the change the game seemed to play different, seemed to play much more realistic, the AI tendencies was on point, the AI actually ran a patient, effective halfcourt offense and it felt like I was watching a real game of basketball.

I don't know if it was just me not playing on Broadcast in so long, seeing the game from a different angle probably made it felt different. Or me just bugging out, or possibly me just me being the first one to notice this change. What do you guys think?

Also a quick question. How do you switch defensive assignments for one play? Because sometimes I want to guard my opponents PG with my SG or SF, or their SG with my SF or PG for a play, so I switch over to him, initiate lock on D and my guy never switches to the guy I switched off of. How do I get my player to switch his defensive assignment, to the player I left for one play?

i have felt this way as well, however i would explain this feeling as view relative...

on broadcast(i play on press or drive)

on drive which is similar to 2k its easier to read the floor and i find i can disrupt their offense and execute mine well.

on press similar to broadcast i find the cpu flows better because i find it harder to predict passing lanes and read cuts etc

also its harder for me to get around defenders on press/broadcast, i found in an assoc i can score 100 pts a game consistently on drive view getting easy baskets where as on side scrolling views like press i barely manage 90

Gameplay does certainly not change, but changing perspectives makes you see things you didn't see before. It's the same thing with life really.

I started playing on "wire" cam and it does seem to have a better flow as my old cam " nosebleed". Also I turned the auto flip off. Feels better to me.

The gameplay itself like stated abiove by our fellow members does not change. What does change is your gameplay .
Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.
