I am in my 6th year using nevada in my ch 2k8 legacy, and I am enjoying watching the top players in my legacy move on to the nba. The nba 2k8 gameplay isnt that bad lol.

Same here because ch2k8 im playing nba2k8 because I can import my players , its a very good game

I never stopped playing NBA2k8. I got 2k11 which I played for 2 months before giving it to one of my students. I have seen the careers of a few of my players all the way through. I sim a lot of games on NBA2k8 but play all my games in Choops2k8. While both games are over 4 years old they have held their age well.

Feel the same way. Got nba 2k8 cheap and havent looked back. I still try the new NBA games but since 75% of my attention is w/ dynasty, I play 2k8. My biggest issue is the Thunder arent on the game, but its not their fault.

I have been entertaining the idea of buying NBA 2K8 for the PS3 for the same reasons you guys have mentioned. Honestly, I don't remember if I even played it when it was out. I have 2K9 & 2K11, but can't remember anything about 2K8. I actually prefer the gameplay of 2K9 to 2K11, even though I'm sure I'm in the minority with that one.

I just got NBA 2k8 yesterday for importing rosters.

Im so glad I can edit people in Association mode, Rookies actually turn into Superstars in this game.

Anyone know where I can download rosters for 2k8?

If you have the PS3 version, there is a roster update here:

You would still need to edit some players' accessories, ratings and tendencies...but the rosters are accurate as of the 2011 playoffs.

I have the 360 Version.

and the downside, is that Created Players and Rookies age faster than the Current players.

I suggest browse through the "NBA 2K Rosters" sub-forum. There may be a roster update as of 2010, see if you can find any.
