trouble while optioning to halfback in demo

So using Oregon in the demo because there my team but every time I run the option my qb won't pitch the ball when I tell him to or if he does he pitches it no where near my hb and it goes out of bounds I was able to run the option really well in 11 did something change

A lot of us have noticed this. The only way I've had success is to pitch it really early. If I pitch it with a defender anywhere near my QB, he'll usually just hold on to it or if he pitches it, he'll toss it way behind my HB.

I even tried a HB toss play (not an option) from under center using Texas and my QB tossed it behind my HB for a fumble.

I'm guessing it was cleaned up for the final version of the game.

Guys first make sure you are using the pitch button and not the fake pitch button. Also you used to be able to pitch it all the way and up to getting hit... They changed it because that led to a lot of cheap long runs because of perfect pitches even when getting nailed. Just keep at it and you'll find the sweet spot.
