    The Pac-12 Thread

Utah and Colorado officially joins the Pac-12. I am excited about the inaugural season of this conference.

HUGE fan of the new alignment! Most exciting conference in football now, no matter how excited I am for Iowa v Nebraska.

Out of curiosity, what about the new alignment do people not like?

I don't know, I'm just happy CU is out of Big XII. Looks like Juron Criner will play this year for Arizona, I serious have no idea who's going to represent the South for the championship game.

If they could get Boise somehow, this would be my favorite conference.

ZERO way this happens. Academics, endowment, and facilities outside of football fall far below Pac-12 standards.

I don't believe Boise is a research institution either which has become a requirement.

There is no chance Boise St. will ever join the conference.

I believe they are a research institution, but there's no reason for the PAC to split their money another direction with a team who plays in a 30,000 seat stadium that they don't sell out every game like they should, and who doesn't bring much of a TV market. Agreed, they'd never have any chance of being considered. PAC expansion should be done unless they can still gobble up some of the Big 12-2 teams when (not if) everyone gets tired of Texas and the conference dissolves.

Well pac-12 media day today. First thing is Andrew Luck said this is probably going to be his last year in college, no surprise there.

The Pac-12 media poll is released.

I will say this about our conference, I dont think anyone has the wealth of talent at the QB position right now like the PAC 12.

For sure, I guess UCLA, Cal, and Washington is the only team in pac-12 with QB questions. Not sure if Kevin Prince or Brehaut is going to start, Cal is going with a transfer from Buffalo and Washington has a new starter.

Also, Larry Scott said pac-12 isn't done expanding....

I think Keith Price will be a pretty good QB for UW this year. I still see another bowl game for them as well.
