Kerry Collins has retired.

i found out from sportscenter that kerry collins retired today. i was looking back at his 16 season career and he really had a good career when you look at it. so whats your guys view on his career and what he has done for the teams he was with? im just curious because i really didnt pay much attention to his career when he was playing.

I got love for him from when he was in NY...very servicable QB for us.

He was a decent QB. I was hoping the Bills would pick him up this year.

It's a shame that he never worked out in Carolina, but he got himself together and had a pretty solid career after that. Best of luck to him.

I'm glad he retired, he was usually a better QB than Young and I was worried whenever he would play for him.

Underrated QB IMHO. Nothing really to brag about but he had a solid career.

Without comparing stats, my impression is he's just another Jeff George, a serviceable journeyman, that's all.

It's unfortunate his drug and alcohol problems plagued him while he was with the Panthers. But I was happy for him that he was able to turn his career around and have some success in NY and Tennessee. Not a HOFer by any means, but a decent NFL QB
