NCAA 12 Varsity Sliders
I will give all the credit to Playmaker for these. I used his 2011 set as a starting point.
I posted this to start the discussion on the "Varsity" Slider Settings. Feedback:
I have played about 10 games and have seen a lot of variety in yardage. I am not great with the sticks so that is why I enjoy this level. Penalties- Positives Roughing the passer Clipping Holding Negatives No facemasks No off/def pass interference Offense- Positives Running game works well I have not tried the option my self but I have seen it run against me very well. I have seen dropped balls with the aid of impact. Will get pressured in the pocket. Negatives Both Human and CPU completion percentage is to high for my liking Defense- Positives Interceptions look decent Not a lot of leaping LB's Special Teams- I increased FG power so a mediocre place kicker could hit a 30-35 yard FG. |
Re: NCAA 12 Varsity Sliders
interesting that nothing changed....:y11:
i would suggest pass coverage increased to about 55-60 (lower Human catch to 50) what this will do is give both sides a slight boost up in zone coverage recognition and take away the amount of seperation on the deep balls WR's seem to get in NCAA 12. I'm going into hibernation this year on sliders to work exclusively on personal rosters for coach mode play....i fell in love with the brodcast camera and decided that is how i will play this year will offer suggestions but no testing by me as i need a year break from sliders in football and basketball games. Stick to the NO switch rule on defense and you should see this level really shine |
Re: NCAA 12 Varsity Sliders
Hey man, i just joined the forum so i could help you out with these. I'm not great on the sticks and usually go with playmakers sliders, but it seems we have to take matters into our own hands with him not making any this year. I'll give these a try later tonight, the only thing that im not sure about is 75 for human catching, seems high imo. I'm gonna use 50 for that but everything else is yours.
Also, for penalty sliders I may raise facemask to 55 and I could use slow speed but I'm on the fence still about that. Gonna go test here in a bit after the all-star game, hopefully we can put together a solid set! |

Any help will be greatly appreciated. The OS Community will be hurting this season with out a set of sliders from you. |
Re: NCAA 12 Varsity Sliders
This is my preferred playing style so I will test as much as I can and will be watching the progress!

Re: NCAA 12 Varsity Sliders
I assume human is first and cpu is second (human/cpu)--right?
Thanks for these. |

Louisville(me) vs Indiana
UL 14 10 0 7 31 IU 7 10 0 0 17 Stats: Louisville Indiana First downs 14 16 Total Offense 346 270 Rushes-Yards-TD 38-237-2 31-88-1 Comp-Att-Td 10-19-1 19-37-1 Passing Yards 109 182 Turnovers 0 3(1 fum, 2 int) Sacks 3 1 Vic Anderson went off for 190 yards on 22 carries with a couple of TD's and Daniel Brown recovered a fumble for a touchdown. Human rushing was pretty easy for me, as was holding down the CPU running game. Lowering the human run blocking and raising the CPU run blocking may be in order. Both offenses pretty much did what they wanted in the first half, IU could have scored a lot more had it not been for the turnovers and 6 drops. Cpu pass rush may also need a very slight boost. Pretty fun game all in all. |
