You have any exciting down to the wire games yet?

I play on 7 minutes on AA default sliders. Doing Dynasty with the Golden Bears. 1 game, I had a 30 yard run with time running out to win it in regulation. Ran the HB Draw play to just run out the clock, got more than that.

Just played another down to the wire game today. Trojans @ Golden Bears. Most I was down by was 10. Then I got a fumble, interception, both returned for a TD. Most I was up by was 17. Then I started making mistakes and the Trojans came back by 3. Back and forth throughout the 2nd half. Then I get a 4 point lead in the 4th, with 1:09 left. I flick the joystick in the wrong direction and the Trojans have a 40 yard TD to win it 66-63.

Record is 4-2. Have any games like this you care to share?

I actually had one in RTG, during a high school game. I was down by 6, got the ball on my own 8 yard line (I'm QB) with 1:30 left and no time outs. I drive my team down to the 4 yard line. Spike the ball with 2 seconds left. Snap the ball, nobody open, blitz comes at me, I shake off one defender and bolt for the end zone. Leaping for it..... I get smacked by a linebacker and tackled on the 1-inch line. Time expires.

    "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

My very first game was a great one. Colorado(cpu) vs UK

I have a 17-14 lead with 2 minutes left and had to punt the ball away, Colorado took over around midfield and drove the ball down the field and scored with about 45 seconds left. I took the kick out to around the 30 and quickly moved the ball to the Colorado 40 with about 15 seconds left, after a small gain and an incomplete pass I faced a long third down with about 5 seconds left. I called Verticals from Shotgun Trips and found a hole in the Buffs zone and found my slot receiver wide open in the endzone for the game winning score. Great way to start off this years edition

I played a double OT game last night. I was Florida State, cpu was LSU.

Game tied at 9 after the half, I ended up winning 43-30 as I took a pick six on their second drive in overtime.

Was a very, very fun game to play.

However, this overtime thriller didn't make it as an instant classic. Anyone else have this problem with your great games? I was offline, so would that make a difference? Also, I won by 13, but that is just because I returned the interception in the second overtime. The pick six to end the game was rated an "A++" in the highlight section. I thought that was pretty cool. Of course I am on ps3 so I couldn't see the whole replay!!

I beat #4 Stanford 17-16 as...Duke. I threw 1 TD and 4 picks but Luck kept me in the game by throwing 5 (granted one was end of the game hail mary, another was a lucky tipped pass). I returned one for a TD. I had almost no offense except for one play - a 76 yard bomb on a deep post to the slot receiver. Someone forgot to cover him and it cost Stanford the game.

How do you play on such long quarters? I was playing on 8 mins. and I thought I was running to many plays so I put it on 7. Maybe I am missing something.

Re: You have any exciting down to the wire games yet?

My very first complete game, I took Nebraska to Cal. The Bears hung in tough through the fourth quarter, then went up 20-17 on a 60 yard breakaway run with two minutes to go. The Huskers responded on the ensuing kickoff with a great return down the sideline to just past mid-field, then closed in and punched it in three plays later. Now 24-20 with less than 40 seconds to go. The Bears turned it over on a long pass attempt, and a Nebraska kneel down to finish it off.

Great game. I had to work for EVERYTHING and I love that. Nothing felt cheap.

I had an amazing one last night. I was just trying Alabama out and playing against LSU at LSU and their crown was fricking RABID!

It was a back and forth game with 4 lead changes in the 4th quarter. LSU had an amazing 11 play 88 yard drive to take the lead with 57 seconds left and then I returned the kickoff to send the game into OT.

In OT, LSU ended up winning by a field goal but it was an amazing game. I felt like the TV was shaking. LSU is NOT an easy place to play.

2nd game as DC as North Texas.

1st game, we get drilled 55-7 by Florida International (I only gave up 34 points and 250 yards, they had a 3 defensive/ST TD's and a lot of short fields).

2nd game, #25 Houston at home. I'm hoping to keep them under 50 points haha. Turns out, it's a close game going into the 4th. They're up 24-13 at the start of the 4th and Keenum had thrown 4 INT's so far and I had only given up 17 points and 200 yards (they had a KR TD). Anyways, at the start of the 4th, my offense has a 3 minute TD drive (failed 2 pt). I then hold Houston to a 1st down and out, and our guy returns the punt for a TD to put us up 25-24 (again failed 2 pt) with 2:15 left. Houston drives to my 30ish yard line but with 1:30 left I sack Keenum and he fumbles and I return it to midfield. My offense ran it 3 times and punted, and I held Houston to a 4 and out from their 10 yard line with around 30 seconds left. I was going crazy.

In my dynasty with Western Kentucky I played Kentucky in our first game. Long story short by the end of regulation we were tied up 7-7. My starting quarterback was injured on the last play of regulation. I redshirted the backup. So the 47 overall 3rd string came in and led us to a 33-27 4 overtime victory against our instate rival..

I started a Dynasty with Akron as the Defensive Coordinator.

Lost to Ohio State 62-7, then lost 17-13 to Temple...

Played Cincinnati AT Cinci and won a great game 30-29.
They scored on a 70 yard pass with just over a minute left, but the ensuing kickoff was returned for a TD and my defense sacked the QB on the final play of the game.

It was a good feeling and an AWESOME experience.

Great game. I have one with Kentucky as well, but it ends in sadness .

I'm playing a rain game at UCLA. I cannot do anything right with Newton at QB, and despite my defense playing great am down 10-0 at the half due to a Newton INT inside our own 20 that led to a 13 yard UCLA TD pass right before the half.

In the 2nd half, I finally rally and get a drive going, driving 56 yards in the pouring rain and pounding the ball with my RB to get a 5 yard TD with about 6 minutes remaining. Both teams D's play great until I get a top with 1 minute to go and have 65 yards to go to win the game or less to tie it.

Newton, after playing horrible, masterfully leads me down the field, hitting some key passes and getting us inside the redzone at the 18 with 35 seconds left. So, I'm thinking field goal and OT at worst. On 1st and 10...I see a hole, and scramble with Newton...15...10..spin move and hold R1 to not fumble at the 7...and the idiot defender somehow still makes Newton fumble. I knew I should have just slid at the 10 yard line. Newton finishes with 2 INT's and 2 fumbles, and we lose 10-7.

I like to lose games while waiting for rosters though, prepares me for the evil that is SEC play this year! Gonna be tough to win more than 6 games with UK in year 1 in SEC play.

In my road to glory game:

We were down 20-14 with 33 seconds left. I pulled off a 66 yard TD run with my guy (RB) for the game winning TD. Pretty cool.
