What's weird is I didn't even recruit this guy until all my need positions were filled. Didn't add him to my recruiting board until about week 8. Shot up his list and grabbed him 5 weeks later.

What is his awereness rating? I'm guesing it's like a 40 something which would lower his overall a lot, and since awereness isn't a factor during the game he will play better than his overall.

The thing is he has high speed and acceleration but isn't great at anything else really. Maybe being fast and getting going combined with the vision to see the hole is what's making him play so well.

87 RTE probably had a lot to do with it also.

Reminds me of an average recruit I got last year by the name of Chad Breedlove. I'll never forget him as a true freshman grabbing TD's with one hand while going across the middle. I think he started as a 76 OVR.

6'5" with an 80 Jump and an 87 Route Running with 90+ Speed and ACC ratings.

Nothing is broken. You my friend, just have a stud on your hands. His catching is near 80 so that helps as well.

You need to ask yourself, is he just playing better than everyone else or is your whole team over-producing? If it's the latter, then adjust your sliders.

If it's the former, then you just have a stud who happens to be lined up against slower LBs or under-sized NB's and S's.
