Patch or Tuner Update?

Has anyone heard of when they plan on releasing the first tuner update or working on the second patch?

The first patch was in during game launch. The 2nd patch I have no idea when it would be out. Hopefully, soon because the game needs major tweaking. Game freezes, graphics aren't as good, sliders don't work, commentary sucks, etc. Damn, I wish I would've never bought this game. I should've waited for 2013.

From my understanding the team usually takes a very needed vacation after a game is released so I assume that's what they have or are doing as of right now. I do agree with the above poster, this game is a bug fest!

Hopefully, that vacation isn't too long. Kinda sucks to go on vacation with a not so ready product, but what else can you expect from EA.

Sadly its what you get buying EA titles most of the time... The issues I would hope to see fixed very urgently are the one with the progression of coaches prestige and player ratings as it breaks dynasty play and the console lockups with hint of the day...

All they need to do is make the game play like it does in Practice mode. It is like night and day.

I downloaded an update this morning, which I assumed was a patch. I already had the first one, so this is definitely a different one. I didn't play any games so I don't know what all changed.

Not sure but I think that's an Xbox Live update...not NCAA 12.


But why are we complaining about graphics and commentary?
I just want a playable game with above average game mechanics. The only thing that bothers me about the commentary is when they say that the receiver waited for the ball and should have come back to the ball.

Well guess what? The game mechanics make it so that the defender goes for the ball. Not the receiver.

Bring back the D-Pad for running the ball as well as scrambling the quarterback.

there was an xbox system update released today. the online dynasty fix that is list in the link is a server side fix, so an update on the client side(us) is not needed.

They aren't on vacation. IF you watched the making of NCAA 12 last thursday on ESPN U, last year On JULY 20th, they were already having a meeting on what features they were going to put in the game.

All the head producers and designers were there.

I think some probably take their vacation right after the game goes "gold" and is completed. by the time the game is actually in the stores selling, they are back to work on the next game. I'm sure they also alternate their time off, so it's not like everyone in the office is out at once.

Yep, since in reality the game is already done a month before it hits store shelves. So I am sure most went on vacation second half of june & 1st half of July.

Not to jump on EA's band wagon but you do know they can only spend X amount of time bug testing. In order to meet the yearly deadline. That's the bad part about Making sports games on yearly bases.
