Uniform mistake or MLB Uniform mandate

I know SCEA has to follow the MLB uniform manual but if you look at MLB 10's version of the Twins throwback old, the back number was outlined in red (correct) but in MLB 11 the red outline of the number was removed(not correct). Was just curious since the Twins now wear that unifom in all home games this year.

Could it be a different throwback year?
They changed some of them this year(Mets for example)

I agree with Knight, it's probably a different throwback year. Although it may work out that way at times, I don't believe they intentionally put in the same throwback uniforms that the actual teams are using for the current season.

Yeah may be true but if you look at the front of the uniform, Twins is outlined in red. Im not trying to nail SCEA to anything, I think its just more noticeable with the Twins because they are using that jersey for all home games (in honor of Killibrew). Plus the outline makes the number pop more. Angels 50th annivesary unis ? those have to be approved a year before they arent in. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE this game, I just think detail wasnt as focused this year. ie the 6foot Jon Lester and the 6'8 Craig Breslow. Nobody is perfect and all Im saying is throwback unis are a fun part of the game.

There may be some flaws in the uniforms, but they've given us a mix-&-match feature which is very cool. No game can be perfect, and I'm okay with it.

Yup. Next year, the h-alternate pants should have red socks.

I just hope the 1956 Redlegs cut sleeves and the Brooklyn Dodgers uniforms are in for 2012.

I still wonder why they went in and did this. It doesn't make much sense. The red outline looks great and is there to stay as far as I know almost all their jersey's have an outline. And why can they not just keep adding throwbacks and what not and stop deleting any of them if that is the case. The game is on a bluray and it would be nice to have a large selection of uniforms.
