I successfully returned this piece of garbage

Better luck next time EA. What a disaster, and I was one of the people who actually supported last year's game. What a pile of *&%^.

You act like you were a member of some endangered species. A lot of people liked last year's game.

And rhino's, tigers, and elephants used to be in great abundance.

The testing in this game is a joke. "Implementations" were added the way in which people try out new ice cream toppings; just thrown on in hopes of it tasting (looking) good.

I've done beta-testing for a handful of software companies and this is piss-poor, even if it weren't a company as vast as EA.

But it's my own fault for being surprised!

        Couldnt agree more.

Its upsetting that people feel the need to defend the game. Obviously we all want it to do good or else we wouldnt shell out $60. But people need to speak up. They make MILLIONS off this game and we cant even get a game with non-big bugs. Its just embarrassing in 2011 this happens. Instead of spending time making birds and horses make sure the game works properly.

I have to agree with this one. Team specific content is nice but not at the expense of glaring bugs.

Edit: I personally think the gameplay is a lot better than in the past, but things being poorly implemented (custom playbook glitches, freezes, etc..) is quickly giving the game a blackeye.

The Art Team (Birds, Horses, 3D Grass, etc.) is totally different than the game play team...
                  Football: Denver Broncos
                  Baseball: Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs
                  Hockey: Allentown Phantoms
NCAA: The College of William and Mary Tribe

Only an excuse if they have unlimited resources, which I doubt. If you have 200 employees, to do more art, you're going to have more people available in art so you might have fewer employees available in gameplay. They need new people period. The same employees have probably been working on the same game so long they just assume the errors are the game now.

I'm going to wait for the next patch before I decide on wether the game gets returned or not. My money is already spent, there's not a thing I can do about that. However, the next patch MUST correct the glaring issues with this game for me to take advantage of my money's worth. In other words, EA has to make the "advertised" features available for use so that gameplay is not affected. When this happens, I'll be back on board.

Another person who can't control their emotions and just had to make their own thread. I didn't realize that guys actually acted this way. I thought only women were drama queens like this.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

That's great that you returned the game, but we dont need a thread for it.
