Did they remove this feature in this years game? everytime i score a touchdown the console takes over the celebrating even when i score on the end where my team's mascot happens to be

Excessive celebrating is a penalty. It's not allowed.

i haven't had the opportunity to celebrate with any mascots, either. it's even listed as a feature in the 'coach tips' while the game's loading.

I haven't seen a celebration of any sort yet. Guys just drop the ball and do that tough guy smile thing.

I was hoping for some sort of button combo thing like they used to have, like NHL has, but haven't found anything yet.

Well...from other forums....team-specific celebrations are done automatically now (like, FSU's Tomahawk Chop, texas's Hook em Horns, and others). and i also get the celebrating with the mascot on the loading screen

Yep, this is just because the NCAA doesn't allow you to "attract any attention to yourself". It's like when Kansas State (it was Kansas State, right?) got robbed, this is the biggest BS rule ever. I mean, they should call excessive celebration every play if they did against Kansas State. I mean, I'm not any fan of Kansas State or anything but that was just horrible.

EDIT: It got taken out due to NCAA rules, I believe.

For the same reason that Lee Corso's voice still appeared in the game last year even though he had been removed.

correction..it wasn't Kansas State....it was Washington...Jake Locker spiked/tosses the football in the air after scoring the TD that would have won the game
