2nd Annual College Football Pick Em 2011-2012
Last year i kind of sprung this at the last minute. Still got a lot of participants last year, but starting the thread this early im hoping to double the amount of participants that we ended up with. The rules and regulations are copied and pasted from last years thread and are listed below.
Every week i will post 4 games of my choosing. Usually the games are the more marquee matchups of the week. 3 of the games will be worth 1 point each. The 4th game known as the "spotlight game" is worth 2 points.
When we get to the conference championship week, each championship game is worth 2 points. Except for the BCS conference championship games (ACC, Big 10, PAC 12, SEC) which will be worth 3 points each.
Then every single bowl game will be worth 2 points each except for the BCS bowl games (Rose, Orange, Fiesta, Sugar) which will be worth 3 points each. The national title game will be worth 5 points.
Picks must be posted before 11am Central time on Saturday's. If your post is edited anytime after 11am CT, your picks for that week will not count. I will update the standings every Monday or Tuesday as well as post the games that you will be picking for the next week.
Rarely will i choose a game on Thursday's, but if i do i will let you guys know as soon as the previous Monday.
If you fail to post your picks 2 weeks in a row, your points will be erased and you can no longer pick games during the season.
Standings will be posted here on the first post.
