Bold predictions thread 2011.

This is probably my favorite type of threads on OS. With the offseason in full swing and the preseason right around the corner I figure I would start the prediction thread for this year.

These are some of my bold predictions.

Colts miss the playoffs for the first time in however long.
Reggie Bush has a break out year(provided he stays healthy) and puts up 2.5k all purpose yards.
Randy Moss comes back before the season ends.
The Seahawks win 10+games
The Panthers end the year at or above .500

Re: Bold predictions thread 2011.

- The Eagles will NOT be a powerhouse team in the NFC but rather a lot of their offseason signings will backfire. Vick will get injured midway through the year and the Philly fans will turn on Vince Young.

- Meanwhile Kevin Kolb will put up pro bowl type numbers for the Cardinals as they make a run for the playoffs but fall just short.

- The Lions will win 10+ games and make the playoffs

- The Colts will NOT make the playoffs

- I concur on the Reggie Bush sentiments as he will have an outstanding year in Miami.

- Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson will be involved in some kind of controversy and be very close to being cut by the Pats but stays on because he's having a good season.

- The Jets and Mark Sanchez will have an "off year" and they'll struggle.

The Jets won't make the playoffs.

Lions will contend strongly for a wild card spot.

Texans will have a Top 15 D.

Ray Rice will be the best RB in football.

Neither New York team makes the playoffs.

New England doesn't lose a game.

Colt McCoy becomes a rising star because of the WCO.

Mike Holmgren is hired as a head coach at the end of 2011.

The 49ers win the NFC West.

The Texans win the AFC South.

Cam Newton throws and runs for over 2,500 yards.

Vince Young will lead the Eagles into the playoffs.

The Atlanta Falcons will finish 3rd in the NFC South with an 8-8 record.

The Indianapolis Colts will win the division again (seems like that might be considered bold at this point, especially with the upgrades Houston has made).

Raymond Webber will start alongside Mike Williams at WR for the Buccaneers.

The Kansas City Chiefs will defend their division title.

The Buffalo Bills will win a game against either the Jets or the Patriots.

And my super bold prediction that I don't actually believe:
John Beck will surprise the world by being a pretty good starter, throwing more touchdowns than interceptions.

And #2: Tyler Thigpen will start a few games under center for the Buffalo Bills.

The Lions will be one of the Top 3 teams in the NFC.

The Steelers miss the playoffs.

Calvin Johnson Jr. becomes widely known as the best receiver in football at the end of the season.

Chad Ocho Cinco has a resurgent season and catches for over 1200+ yards and 10+ touchdowns.

If Tom Brady is healthy the entire season and this ends up being true, I will allow each member of my family to pie me in the face.
