How to make the CPU jump offsides?

Honestly? I see that little indicator at the bottom of my screen that states that the CPU is consistently jumping the snap, so you'd figure I could get 'em to jump offsides with a fake snap or two. Well, that has approximately a 0% success rate as I'm called for a false start 100% of the time I try it.

$100 for anyone who guesses what happens on the very next play. They jump it and sack me before I've even planted my feet since my offensive linemen are busy taking a dump on the EA logo plastered all over the field, meanwhile I have 14 99 OVR WRs wide open downfield with only 1 82 OVR DB covering all of them, but I'm hesitant to even throw the ball because I'm afraid that he'll do cartwheels across the field and pick it off with his feet while doing a 720 nosedive and breaking 14 tackles on his way to the endzone while all of my teammates are busy taking bad angles and getting suctioned into 78 OVR LBs.

Yeah. I've recently realized that the CPU cheeses more than XxBAMA_ASSASSINxX. CPU for cheeser of the year award.

I could be mistaken, but didnt you start a thread asking EA not to patch the gameplay?

I've drawn the defense offsides a couple times. It's hard to catch them jumping and get the ball off before they get back though.

Just now started getting into the meat of my CPU schedule in OD mode. I should clarify; EA please don't patch the online gameplay!

        CPU sucks.

I actually have pretty decent success getting them to jump offside. It's usually when I get into a rhythm of snapping the ball with the same timing on every play, and then I use the fake snap instead of the real snap.

Rarely will I ever have an offensive player false start. Maybe if I fake the snap more than a couple of times.

I don't think that there's an exact science to getting the computer to jump offsides. I just fake snap at random times throughout the game. If you do fake snap too often, I think the computer recognizes that and doesn't jump as much.

The key for less false starts to me is to not do more then two fake snaps per play. Also, if I'm on the road, I wait for the crowd to calm down. I get called maybe once a game for false starts. As for getting the dline to jump offsides, it just takes luck. I can usually get 4-7 calls per game now.

Play with a better offensive line or tone down the false start slider. If you are EMU, well no duh. Your line has the awareness of a 3-year old. They are going to jump at the sound of a defensive line's shuffle. I draw plenty of offsides from the computer.

See, I thought the "fake snap" was a bit too effective... lol. I can draw the defense offsides five times before I see a false start.

                      This.

I actually find myself NOT using the fake snap sometimes since I feel like I'm cheating!

Y'all must be playing on some easy sliders. It's not like I abuse R1. I press is maybe 7 times a game once I realize the CPU is jumping the snap.

                        7 false starts

I also get an offsides at about a 5 to 1 ratio. I usually don't use it until the CPU jumps the snap a couple of times, then I'll usually get them to jump offsides and they quit JTS for a while.

I've had to turn up my false start slider (they were both @ 55 before) because sometimes when I have 4th and 5 from just outside FG range I'll try to draw them offsides for the 1st down and I can fake snap 5-8 times without getting a false start.

i got false start slider at 55 or 60. i just randomly fake snap and sometimes catch dline cheating. like someone earlier mentioned, i dont fake more than 2x in any given play or your asking to get a false start. if u have a substandard oline, i wouldnt fake snap more than 1x a play. it seems to be tied to awareness who jumps the line or who false starts on the oline.

i figure this cuz i had a game where the cpu was making my DE jump more than i was comfy with. they got him like 4x in one drive. every time it was the DE who kept getting caught. check all my dlines attributes, low and behold, the DE was the one with the worst awareness. it got to the point i had to turn my dline aggression back to balanced and manually control him to keep him from jumping til he calmed down.

Weird. I find that I draw them off too much. I think that I have off-sides at 55%. I get an offsides at least once a game and a roughing the passer probably once every 2 games.
