Wow, NHL12 has gone a raised the bar even higher. This feature is probably a main part in why i will be purschasing this game on day one; or using that EA Season ticket. EA 24/7 is going to revolutionize the online gaming industry.

Yeah I think this updated HUT mode looks a lot more fun this year than the danglefest, boostfest, glitchfest EASHL mode.

We'll see how well it holds up once the game ships.

I hope they fixed the bug where tournament games wouldn't count if the other player quit on you.

Yes, it look infinitely more fun.

I can use the game to play my friends online, and use offline play to earn pucks. I doubt I will ever step foot into a random play rink for HUT.

I love EA's NHL games a ton. But the core community that plays online are a bunch of whining douche bags. If they aren't glitching and cheesing, they are busy accusing everyone else of doing so. It's the most negative community of all the sports games I have played. OTP and regualr vs. games are both horrible.

I gave up on HUT last year because of it, even though I think the mode is near genius. But the changes they have made means I can avoid most of it. The key is in how easy it is to earn pucks. If I have to spend money, may still be out.

I played a game today in the EASHL, and right afterward, some dude comes into my team's chat party and yells at us for "slapshot glitching."

Apparently scoring clean slapshots from the point with a screen in front is a glitch now.

People will come up with any excuse for losing.

Wait so when you play a team does it go against their record? Would kind of suck to see you had 20 losses because people just did the ol' toe drag deke around the D 20 times and glitched their way to victory.
