Yep, any demo for the first week i think belongs to only gold users. I feel like thats the dumbest thing ever myself and i've been a Gold member since 04.

Before hand demos on release date were for everyone including sliver members, but then they decided to make gold more appealing and screw over the sliver members.

In-conclusion, if you don't have gold you won't get the demo till the following week

i believe if i remember correctly the time is around 3am for some reason that time sticks in my head knowing past updates.

edit: straight from pastaparade •Reminder: The Madden NFL 12 demo will be out Tuesday (early AM 360, afternoon PS3).

It comes out when the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store update. Probably around 6PM EST. Don't quote me on the time, but from experience it'll update around then.

I was thinking it's 3-6 am EST for xbox live and 4-6pm EST for PSN. Could be wrong on that, but around then.

I get my cast off tomorrow, but they might give me a new one for the rest of the month, but I'm praying my surgeon/doctor sticks to his word and doesn't put another cast on me. This could be perfect timing lol.

the thing im happy about is somehow tuesday and wednesday i got off of work and work the rest of the week. so getting 2 full days of playing the demo makes me happy.

Yes, you must be gold to download it the first week. But you can get a free one-month upgrade to gold. If you're already silver, all you have to do is create a different user name (with a different email also) and sign up for silver. It will ask if you want to upgrade to gold. Answer no. Then it will offer a free one-month gold trial, which you can cancel on-line before your credit card gets charged after one month. You can do this up to three times on one console.

Have patience, it's only a video game. If you really want to dig into the game, get the pass. You get the game 3 days early FULL VERSION before it comes out via PS3 Network and Xbox.
