Do you feel every down counts ?
 

I tend to feel like I have to try my *** off on every down and I end up having great games. In Madden I felt like I had to slack off once in awhile to get a good game in. If the game was close, I always felt in control. Even with good sliders, I just didn't have that much fun. In ESPN I feel that every play counts. This is tough to explain... Anyone know what I'm sayin?

Definitely. I am playing with the Saints in my franchise on ALLPRO settings. 1st game I was down 17-0 at half. I rallied and made it 17-14 and eventually turn the ball over on a potential game tying drive.

Second game I play the Texans and figure easy win right? Wrong. I was in for the fight of my life. I screwed around and blew a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter.

I got so pissed off I replayed the game and treated it like it was the Superbowl. I won by 20 but it taught me to take every game seriously.

And 4th and inches is not an automatic first down either ! I have went for it several times and got stuffed.

yeah i feel the same way but my viks record isnt the same as yours, Michael Bennet is unbelievable in this game.

better or worse?

in Madden I went 11-5 my first year and won the superbowl

2nd year in Madden I went 14-2 and lost in the NFC Champ.

ESPN I am 5-2 so far. Every game just feels so close.
